The PETA verification for Joico products also means any supplier it works with attests to the same standards, so that Joico’s whole supply chain, to produce its products is free of animal testing. Global Animal Test–Free and Vegan (approved for Joico Inner Joi products) is a certification that recognizes companies and brands that meet the same requirements, and whose entire product line is free of animal-derived ingredients. According to PETA, these brands/products are truly cruelty-free (Joico is proud to offer a vegan line of products with Inner Joi products.

Joico has invested in wind energy for our Beauty Care Manufacturing Site in Geneva, New York U.S.A.. Their on-site microgrid (wind turbines) generate 20% of the electrical requirements for the site, and the balance of electricity is 100% green purchased. They also continue to refine and develop our strategy to ensure the U.S. based production is clean and sustainable driving our carbon footprint.
